In this chapter, Luffy and Buggy fight their way in prison level 1. Buggy hardly defeated any level 1 prison guard also known as “Blugori” (Blue Gorilla) but Luffy defeats them all.

This chapter also review about the structure of the prison in the Marine base. There are 5 levels of prison and each subsequent level of prison consist of more dangerous criminal.(and also stronger prison guards).

(Prison Layout)
Luffy wants to save his elder brother Ace who is kept in level 5 prison.

In Level 1 prison, there is a forest namely “Kenju” also known as Bladed Forest. This forest has lots of “Haribarisou” which means (needle needle leaves). These leaves are needle like and will cut those who are in the forest. Level 1 prisoners are threw in this forest to be tortured. In the middle of the forest there is a well that leads to Level 2 prison. But as you know, level 2 prison is much tougher and scarier than level 1.

Buggy knows the way to level 4 prison. He decided to guide Luffy after Luffy gives him a bracelet on luffy’s arm, According to Buggy, this bracelet is actually a map that will lead to Captain John’s treasure.

This chapter also further explain on Buggy’s ability of the “bara bara” (Buggy’s Splitting power).

Manga Facts:

• Bulgori - Blue Gorillas ( level 1 prison guard in the marine’s prison), their weapon so far is just an axe. These gorillas are huge and somehow fast.
• Kenju -  Bladed Forest ( appear in level 1 prison ) use to torture level 1 prisoners
• Haribarisou - Needle needle leaves. thorn leaves which are needle like, they are very sharp and they appear in Kenju (the Bladed Forest). This leaves will cut anyone who comes in the forest.
